Robert Herta

Robert brings over 30 years of communications experience advising global brands, startups, and nonprofits. He’s advised on communications strategy for clients including Kellogg, Yazaki Innovations Inc., TrueCar, Owens Corning, Corewell Health, Intertek, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Cleveland Avenue, Gordon Food Service, GAF, Visteon, Indiana University Health, AgeWays, City of Northville, American Society of Quality Detroit Chapter and the U.S. Army TACOM.

Before founding Herta Communications, he held senior roles at a Fortune 500 company and spent 15 years at one of the world’s largest automakers. He’s also a two-time IABC Detroit president, published author, and former adjunct professor.

Robert built the firm on a belief in balance — rooted in four guiding values: Faith, Family, Fitness, and Finances.
