Jim Burke
Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Engagement*
Jim specializes in strategic communications and stakeholder engagement. He has more than 30 years experience in communications, human resources and labor relations. Earlier in his career, he held several executive communications roles with General Motors, Federal-Mogul and Babcock & Wilcox. Jim is president of the Charlotte, North Carolina chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. Previously, he served on the board of directors for the Detroit chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and was instrumental in establishing the chapter’s ethics program. Jim holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan.
