Visiting University of Detroit Mercy

Returning to my alma mater, University of Detroit Mercy recently, was special. I’m grateful to Cynthia Langham for inviting me to speak with students in the Media Social Responsibility class. It was inspiring to engage with such thoughtful and passionate students and reflect on how much the people from UDM helped shape my career. Opportunities like this are a reminder of the value of staying connected to the people and places that helped guide us early on.

I encourage all alumni to look for opportunities to reconnect with their universities and former professors. You never know how meaningful those conversations can be for both you and the next generation.
